Visgo is a small consulting practice run by Ryan Gallagher in Kelowna, British Columbia. This page says what we collect when you use this website, why, where it goes, and how to have it removed. It's written to be read, not to cover us.

What we collect, and why

• When you send a note through a form on this site: your name, business name, email address, phone number if you give it, and what you wrote. We use it to reply to you and, if you ask, to arrange a conversation. Nothing else.
• When you book a conversation through the calendar on the Okanagan page: the details you enter and the time you choose, handled by the scheduling provider named below.
• When you simply visit: standard analytics — which pages were viewed, roughly where from, on what kind of device — and, on the Okanagan campaign page, whether a visit led to a booking or a note. We use this to see whether the page is useful and whether an advertisement was worth running. We do not sell it or use it to build a profile of you.

Where it goes

We use a few ordinary services to run the site. Each receives only what it needs to do its job:

• Formspree delivers form submissions to our inbox.
• Cal.com handles conversation bookings — the time you choose, your name, email, business name and anything you add — and places the appointment in Ryan's calendar. Cal.com's own privacy policy governs its service.
• Google Analytics records page views and events.
• Meta (Facebook / Instagram) receives a signal when a visit from one of our advertisements leads to a booking or a note, so we can tell which advertisement worked. Meta's own privacy policy governs what it does with that signal.

Messages and bookings are read by Ryan personally and stored in our email and calendar. They are not shared with anyone else.

Cookies

The analytics and advertising services above may set cookies to recognise a returning browser. The site itself sets none of its own. You can block or clear cookies in your browser at any time; the site works without them.

How long we keep it

Notes and booking details are kept for as long as we're in conversation and for a reasonable period afterwards, then deleted. Analytics are kept in aggregate form only.

Your choices

You can ask to see what we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted. Send a note through the contact form or email privacy contact address to be added and we'll do it promptly — usually within a few days.

Changes

If this page changes in a way that matters, the date at the top will change with it.
